North Dakota boater education information

North Dakota currently requires a boater education card from all persons 12 to 15 years old who are unaccompanied and operate a boat or personal watercraft of 10 hp or more in North Dakota waters.

Additionally, many insurance agencies offer a boat insurance discount for all boaters who have taken a boating safety course.
